Most of the high-end houses designed by Toby Johnson, founder of the Johnstone & Johnson Design Studio, have employed off-form concrete as an integral part of their design and function. One of the new designs at Concept stage, a three-storey residence overlooking Balmoral Beach in Sydney Harbour at Windward Avenue, Mosman, displays off-form concrete at its best. The design comprises six bedrooms, six bathrooms and a four car garage. As well as open plan living, there will be an infinity pool with a spa, a hidden cellar and a rumpus room with a bar. A main feature will be a cantilevered steel stair with full height glazing to capture the natural sunlight and views and the top level dedicated as a parents’ retreat. The interior architecture will also feature natural stone benchtops, custom built-in sinks and hardwood timber veneer joinery.

If this or any of the other designs on the Johnstone & Johnson website have inspired you to think seriously about building your new 'forever' home, send Toby a message via Johnstone Johnson Contact page.
