Another Johnstone & Johnson design, but not one that has a waterfront or an ocean view. In this case a 270 degree view from the top of a 900 metre hill, looking north towards Canberra with the Brindabella mountain range in the distance. The house will feature off form concrete, natural stone and zinc cladding on the exterior of the house, in keeping with Johnstone & Johnstone’s ethos of sustainable or solar passive design. This two storey design features seven bedrooms, five bathrooms and a four car garage, including a two bedroom guest wing. There will also be a rumpus room and bar, full height glazing to capture the natural sunlight and an opening on to a green roof. The interior architecture features a cantilevered steel staircase and natural stone benchtops with custom built-in sinks.
