An exercise in subtle urban refinement, the Avoca Street Terrace reimagines traditional terrace living for contemporary beachside Bondi. The architectural intervention elevates the existing terrace typology through considered modulation of form and material, opening the interiors to generous natural light and ventilation while preserving the rhythm and scale of the streetscape. Thoughtful expansions and refinements foster a seamless flow between living spaces, revealing a choreography of interior volumes that respond to both the site’s orientation and the coastal ambience of Bondi. Materials are resolved with tact: a restrained palette that complements the original structure yet asserts a contemporary presence, enhancing the experience of everyday living.
